In addition to Schwaab, Lars Balzer, Managing Director of Qwello, and Uwe Müller, Managing Director of e-jIn, were also elected for a two-year term, as CharGER announced. The new trio thus replaces the founding board from 2025. Eduard Schlutius (founder of reev), the first chairman of CharGER eV, is leaving the board, and Hans Beck (Chief Commercial Officer at Jolt Energy) is no longer active as treasurer of the association.
The association thanks outgoing chairman Schlutius and treasurer Beck for their commitment since its founding. “With the new board, we aim to further increase the association’s effectiveness and strengthen cooperation across the entire charging infrastructure sector,” reads a joint statement from the newly elected board. “To meet the ambitious expansion targets, economic viability, and public acceptance of charging infrastructure in the coming years, we need a reliable planning and action framework as well as pragmatic regulations. The course is being set now – the Charging Infrastructure Master Plan 2030 provides a crucial foundation for this.”
