Qwello Germany is pleased to announce that 1,000 Qwello charge points for electric vehicles (EVs) have now been successfully installed throughout Germany.
Whether in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Leipzig, Offenbach, Regensburg, or Leverkusen, Qwello charge points are increasingly becoming part of the urban landscape in Germany.
This progressive expansion is part of Qwello’s ongoing efforts to meet the growing demand for public charge points for electric vehicles.
The German market for public charging infrastructure is still developing, with demand continuing to outstrip the available network of charge points.

The 1000th Qwello charge point in Germany was inaugurated on April 10, 2025, at André-Strasse 62 in Offenbach, as part of a ceremony honoring the dedicated employees of Qwello Germany who are committed to the mobility transition.
To mark the occasion, a special edition of the Qwello Signature charge point, model “CP05,” was installed – a gold-foiled unit made with sustainable foil materials.
Christian Kozur, Technical Managing Director of Qwello Deutschland GmbH, said:
“The continuous development of our public charging infrastructure in Germany is only possible thanks to our tirelessly working project managers. They are in constant communication with cities, municipal departments, network operators, and our certified local subcontractors in the fields of electrical and civil engineering to successfully manage the complex processes involved in infrastructure development. They deserve special thanks today, and our ‘golden boy’ – the 1000th Qwello charge point in Germany – should serve as a visible expression of this gratitude.”
